Week Three Post Full Project Mock Up

The general flow of the project has been decided. I will collect user data about what people feel is the most confusing part of the client and from there I will decide what needs to be fixed. To keep the scope of the project manageable I will fixate on only this one part instead of the entire client. After the data has been collected and the piece of the client that needs to be reworked has been selected I will get to work in Figma. After the corrections and changes are made I will send out another survey (hopefully to some of the same people) for further user research testing. With the final set of data I will make the final corrections to the project.

Breakdown :

  • Project Versions
    •  Low Res :

        • Where are they?

        • Analyze information and see where the main problems in the client are
        • Pick one section to focus on
    • Alpha
      • Taking information from the questionnaire use Figma to redesign the selected part of the client
    • `Beta
      • A second questionnaire with the release of the alpha
      •  Have users test the alpha and answer question to see what can be improved further
      • More input from the community

    • Gold

      • Using all of the data collected from previous version, compete a working version of the client in Figma
  • Risk and Challenges :
    • “Biting off more than I can chew”
      • I need to make sure that I don’t take on a part of the client that can’t be done in the time allotted for the course
      • The questionnaire will definitely help with this problem if it is completed problems
    • Questionnaire
      • Questions will have to be targeted to make sure I get useful information
      • The UI of the client is bad (in my opinion), but lots of people complain about its gender performance and that is not what this project is about.
    • Figma Project
      • Making sure I have all of the skills required to do the project, I know the program decently well but can always be better
      • I can look up a reminder guide of prepare tutorials early for things I might encounter
